Fraud Alert: Recently, we have been made aware of “scams” whereby unauthorized individuals are using Gentiva's name and logo to solicit potential job-seekers for employment or to extend fraudulent job offers. We are aware of some cases where job-seekers are being contacted directly by email. In other instances, these unauthorized individuals may place advertisements for fake positions with both legitimate websites and fabricated ones. These individuals typically promise employment opportunities with the requirement that the job-seeker send money to pay for processing his/her application or other fees, or request personal banking information be sent by the applicant on a return email. These individuals will have non-Gentiva email addresses (i.e., hotmail, yahoo.com email accounts). Please be advised that Gentiva will never ask potential job-seekers for any sort of advance payment as part of the recruiting or hiring process, nor will Gentiva solicit personal banking information, or ask you to complete a credit report in an email communication. In addition, all Gentiva Family of Companies Human Resources and Recruitment representatives have company email addresses that will have their name with @gentiva.com or @odsyhealth.com.
