John Camperlengo
Vice President, Deputy General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer

John Camperlengo is responsible for overseeing Gentiva's compliance program, regulatory affairs, HIPAA management, privacy, billing compliance review, real estate, policy development and the Company's Contracts Department. In addition, John is the Deputy General Counsel of Gentiva's Law Department.

John joined Gentiva in 2000 as Senior Counsel. He was promoted to Assistant Vice President and Assistant General Counsel in 2002; to Associate General Counsel and Head of the Contracts Department in 2003; and Vice President and Deputy General Counsel in February 2005.

Prior to his work at Gentiva, John worked in the law department of Prudential Securities Incorporated, where he held the position of First Vice President & Associate General Counsel. He directed an SEC-mandated arbitration program resulting from sales of limited partnerships during the 1980's, and provided various legal services to the broker-dealers. John was named Director, Compliance for the Individual Financial Services division of Prudential, where his responsibilities included overseeing and ensuring compliance with all sales practice-related regulatory requirements promulgated by the NASD, SEC and state securities and insurance regulatory bodies.

John holds degrees from St. John's University and Seton Hall University. He also holds the rank of Lieutenant Colonel in the Marine Corps Reserves.
