Murray Mease
Vice President of CareCentrix

Murray Mease directs Gentiva's managed care product, CareCentrix.

He joined Gentiva in 1994 as Vice President, Managed Care, with primary responsibility for designing and implementing programs to meet the needs of managed care organizations. He later became Vice President of Network Operations and then Vice President of CareCentrix.

Murray has been a key player in Gentiva's CIGNA relationship and has directed the development of Gentiva's industry-leading utilization reporting program that tracks home care trends, identifies outliers in care delivery, and provides detailed comparisons to national averages. Murray has served as the senior executive of CareCentrix since 2001.

Prior to Gentiva, Murray held clinical, operational, and program development leadership roles with Critical Care America and TeamCare. Later, he developed and managed Medical Care America's Memphis-based patient management and distribution hub in partnership with Federal Express.

Murray graduated from the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy, Baltimore, MD, with a doctorate in clinical pharmacy. Dr. Mease completed his doctoral thesis at Johns Hopkins University Cancer Center and a post-doctoral fellowship at the National Cancer Institutes, where he conducted pediatric cancer research.
